“Hello,” he says. “Here is the menu.”
“Thank you,” Sarah says.
John looks at the menu.
“There are many options,” he says.
Sarah smiles.
“Yes, there are.”
The waiter comes back.
“Are you ready?” he asks.
John looks at Sarah.
“Yes, we are,” she says.
“I would like a sandwich,” John says.
“And I would like a salad,” Sarah says.
“Great,” the waiter says.
He writes the order and leaves.
John smiles.
Now he feels more comfortable speaking English in real situations.
