“I visited another city last year, but this is my first trip abroad.”
Lucas nods with interest.
“How was the other trip?”

“That sounds like John.”
John points at her.
“It’s true.”
“My suitcase broke at the station.”
“I missed the hotel entrance twice.”
“And I got lost looking for a restaurant.”
Daniel laughs loudly.
“That is impressive.”
John shrugs.
“But in the end, it was a great weekend.”
Lucas turns to Sarah.
“What about you?”
Sarah thinks for a moment.
“I traveled with my family when I was younger.”
“We visited the mountains every winter.”
“I loved the snow.”
John looks surprised.
“You never told me that.”
Sarah smiles.
“There are many things I never told you.”
Lucas raises his cup.
“To future stories, then.”
Everyone laughs and lifts their drinks.
The city lights begin to appear across the river.
