John, Sarah, and Daniel sit at a table outside the café.
The weather is pleasant, and a light breeze moves through the street.
A waiter brings coffee for Daniel and tea for Sarah.
John chooses fresh orange juice.
“This place is perfect,” John says.
Daniel smiles.
“I come here whenever I can.”
He checks his phone for a moment.
“My friend Lucas is nearby,” he says.
“He may join us.”
A few minutes later, someone waves from across the street.
Daniel stands up.
“There he is.”
A tall young man with curly brown hair walks toward them.
He is wearing a dark green jacket and carrying a bicycle helmet.
“Daniel!” he says.
They shake hands warmly.
Lucas turns to the others.
“And who are these people?”
Daniel smiles.
“This is John, and this is Sarah.”
“They’re visiting the city.”
Lucas greets them politely.
“Nice to meet you both.”
John smiles.
“Nice to meet you too.”
Lucas sits down and places his helmet on the empty chair.
“So, what do you think of the city?” he asks.
John looks around for a moment.
“It feels alive,” he says.
“And everyone has been kind.”
Lucas nods.
“That’s good to hear.”
Sarah laughs.
“We’ve already had chocolate, music, photos, and now new friends.”
Lucas smiles.
“Then your trip is going the right way.”
The afternoon continues with easy conversation and laughter.
