“Hi,” the boy says.
John smiles back. “Hi.”
“My name is Lucas,” the boy says. “What’s your name?”
“I’m John,” he answers.
Lucas nods and points to the book on the table.
“Page ten,” he says, helping John follow the lesson.
John looks at the page and tries to read. The teacher continues speaking slowly, and John listens carefully.
Sometimes he repeats the words quietly, trying to learn.
Lucas helps him during the class, and John starts to feel more relaxed.
Now, he understands more than before, and he does not feel so nervous anymore.
